"Whatever happened, it happened for good.
Whatever is happening, it is happening for good.
Whatever will happen, it will also happen for good.
What of yours did you lose?
Why or for what are you crying?
What did you bring with you, for you to lose it?
What did you create, for it to be wasted or destroyed?
Whatever you took, it was taken from here.
Whatever you gave, it was given from here.
Whatever is yours today, will belong to someone else tomorrow.
On another day, it will belong to yet another.
Change is the law of the universe."

-The essence of Bhagavad Gita (The holybook of Hinduism)
Whenever you fail something or when you couldn't accept the things that are happening to you, it will be very comforting to read the above lines. The trick is to stay in the balance even if something good happens to you. When you understand and remember these lines, you will be comfortable in leading a good life without being carried away by the life's happenings.
